Optistat Dry BLV

The bottom-loading OptistatDry BLV for spectroscopy consists of a compact cryostat with optical access, cooled by a closed-cycle refrigerator.

This cryogen free cryostat is capable of cooling samples to helium temperatures without the need for liquid cryogens.

This provides significant benefits in terms of ease of use and running costs and enables optical and electrical measurments to be carried out on your samples.

It is also very easy to use with the help of our patent pending sample holders, windows, and wiring options.

  • 3 - 300 K temperature range

  • Cooling to 10 K in < 120 minutes

  • No liquid cryogens required

  • Suitable for a wide range of experiments and different spectroscopy techniques

  • Optical access better than f/1

  • Measurement-ready, via 10-pin electrical wiring to the sample

  • Supplied with a MercuryiTC temperature controller

  • 1 year standard warranty

Features:

  • Versatile: Suitable for a wide range of experiments and different spectroscopy techniques. Designed to interface with both imperial (1”) and metric (25 mm) optical benches.
  • Upgradeable: A wide range of different sample holders, windows and wiring options enable you to customise and upgrade your system as your experimental needs develop.
  • Fast experiment: Changing samples via the unique sample access port is quick and simple, eliminating the need to remove the cryostat from the optical bench or re-align your optics after each and every sample change.
  • Cryofree: No liquid cryogens are required.
  • Ease of use: Only requiring single phase electrical power means the system is easy to install in a standard laboratory environment. Air- or water-cooled compressors are available.
  • Software: Oxford Instruments electronics products are controllable through the software using RS232, USB (serial emulation), TCP/IP or GPIB interfaces. LabVIEW function libraries and virtual instruments are provided for Oxford Instruments electronics products to allow PC-based control and monitoring. These can be integrated into a complete LabVIEW data acquisition system
